About This Program

This program is designed to teach Fashion Design and Custom Fitting to fashion enthusiasts and students eager to learn. Each course follows a structured, step-by-step approach, progressing through different levels. Courses must be taken in order to build a strong foundation. As this program grows, additional classes will be introduced based on student requests.

**Fit & Sew Mockup Dress Virtual Class - Level 3**

Make Your Custom Dress Sloper

Sign up now for this interactive virtual class. In it, you will custom-fit and sew a mockup dress using your personalized five-piece Sloper set, available in sizes 2-14. These Sizes ONLY at this time.

**Course Description:**

In this four-part course, you will have the opportunity to perfect the fit of your garments with personalized guidance and instruction. The class will be conducted on Saturday over three separate dates, each consisting of a 4-hour session with a 30 min break midway (dates and times TBD).

**Course Outline:**

1. **Session 1:**
  - Understanding your measurements and identifying body concerns
  - Tailoring the Sloper set to fit your body measurements
  - Hands-on guidance in laying out the pattern pieces on muslin and cutting them out
  - Homework assignment: Complete cutting and sewing the mockup

2. **Session 2:**
  - Adjustments to the muslin mockup based on personal fitting needs
  - Transferring corrections to the master pattern for future use
  - Option to create another mockup if necessary or proceed to fabric cutting
  - Preparing you to use the personalized Sloper set for future designs

3. ** Session

   - Will allow for more fitting and sewing issues

4. **Prerequisites:**
   - Level 3 sewing knowledge required; consider taking the Fashion Design Sewing Level 2 course if needed
   - Access to Zoom and a camera-equipped device for real-time guidance
   - Purchase of recommended quality muslin and the five-piece sloper pattern
   - Limited class size; enroll now to secure your spot

5. Saturday Dates and Times: TBT

   Please note that refunds are not available; however, you may transfer to a different class if needed.

   Participants can expect up to four hours of homework each week.

   Prerequisites: Moderate sewing experience is required.

   While you’ll work towards completing a sloper pattern, success depends on your individual skill level and commitment to completing the assigned homework. Completion of the pattern is not guaranteed.
